In the Winter Months, The Ely Fishing Guide Company specializes in guiding Ice fishing trips for Walleye, Northern Pike and Crappies on Farm, White Iron, and Shagawa Lakes. We also ice fish for Lake Trout on Burntside Lake, Snowbank Lake and Basswood Lake. We also fish other local lakes for stocked stream Trout. The Ely Fishing Guide Company Guides Ice fishing trips on Ely Area lakes as well as Lakes inside the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Ely Minnesota has some of the best and truly unique ice fishing in northern Minnesota. There is no where else that you can ice fish surrounded by the beauty of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and the Ely MN area. When it comes to ice fishing, Ely MN is known for its variety of Ice fishing opportunities, and we take advantage of them all!
We use a variety of permanent and portable shelters to keep you from the elements. We will provide you with all the Ice fishing electronics, rods and reels and bait and tackle you will need for your trip. All we need you to to do is show up with some warm cloths! if you don't have those we will find some for you!!
The Ely Fishing Guide Company will take you by Vehicle, Snowmobile, or ATV on the Area lakes. On the Lakes Inside the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness motors are not permitted we will ski, hike or hire a team of dogs. Come for two or even three or four different species of Fish, Ely offers a truly unique ice fishing experience!
Package #1: Winter Grand Slam (3 days of Fishing) 1-2 people $1050
Package #2: Weekender (2days of Fishing) 1-2 people $725
Package #3: Day Triper (1 day of fishing) 1-2 people $375
Package #4: I Just want to try it (half day of fishing) $250
Extra people $75 per person, per day, $50 per person for a half day
Full day of Fishing is 8hrs, half day is 4hrs
Included in day trips; transportation to fishing location via snowmobile ATV or truck. all permanent or portable shelters, electronic fish locators, rods and reels and bait and tackle. All we need is you!
Deposits
All trips require a $100 per day deposit. The deposits are ONLY refundable if a 30 day notice before the trip is given. Within 30 days, if the trip can be re booked, deposits will gladly be carried forward to a future date. Balance is due prior to departure.
Gratuity / tipping; If you have a good experience, gratuity is not required, but is greatly appreciated!
